2.What is your passion?

Freedom ..

3.How did you discover your talent?

Growing up I always looked forward to the end of the summer. My birthday as well as the start of the school year. My parents would take my siblings and I shopping at Jamaica Ave Queens,NY. As I got older my mother would start to allow me to shop on my own. I began to find myself there. That was middle school 2005-2006. Also when I fell in love with Air Jordan. I always looked up to my mother who had me when she was 15 years old. She has a beauty and elegance to her. Some of my very first shoots showcase her classic Gucci items.

4.What changes are you trying to bring to your community, and the world?

I feel like many individuals both young and old can both benefit and contribute to the movement. I just want to be the best at what I love. If one person is inspired by my story I have made a change. Hopefully that would create a domino effect until we see a more creative friendly world.

5.Tell us about the best moment you have had doing this?

A local NYC designer small label Dare To Be Vintage, invited me to assist with styling in an upcoming shoot. They had a line of  jackets for me to style around. This was February 2017. I had just did backstage NYFW, Zero + Maria Cornejo show Pier 59 studios. I was assisting, stacking cups, and making Starbucks runs I loved every second of her and the experience. Fashion a wonderland for people like myself. I was even able to get a sneak peak at some of the shows from backstage. Although that was great this was the first opportunity where I had a creative role. Of course I had my own personal projects, but now I could showcase my talent. I was to style 4 models in total, 2 men and 2 women. I began to prep visiting some of my favorite thrifts for looks.

6.What was the worst?

Overly excited my adrenaline rushing day of styling job. I had everything I could pack into my car looks, props steamer $10,000 fur no big deal. I was ready to kill it. I was able to find parking, not too far from the location. The shoot was to start at 12pm. With my suitcase and props, orange hair I began on my way to the building. Not being too familiar with the area, I was a little lost and completely overwhelmed. Some how I ended up on the wrong floor. On the wrong side. Still have all my bags props and orange hair. Looking around see all these beautiful super models I was in awe! Felt like a homeless circus clown. Finally after asking and being given the correct directions I made my way down, As I waited for the elevator I wept. These people were all so beautiful and carefree, if only I could have that. Can be difficult at times being a creative. Fortunately enough I was able to pull things together and had a great shoot. Tried some gender reversal in that shoot as a mix up, I like to have a dramatic twist on style at time.

7.What is something that sets you apart from others doing what you do?

Love, Transparency. I really am an open book. Right now I am grateful, for every look in my direction. I have been given a second chance to be great at what I love. I intend on being completely real with myself and everyone around me.

8.What does your closet look like?

Right now my closet is pretty organized. I am most definitely on the Type B side, usually its pretty happy medium. Every day is a journey.

9.Do you see yourself doing this in 10 years? If so, what will be different?

I would love to be doing this and much more. I would one day like to explore song writing and video production.

10.Tell our readers your message.
